Matt was born in Lincoln and has lived most of his life here in the LNK. Matt graduated from Lefler Jr. High, Lincoln East High and then attended the University of Nebraska where he was a member of Beta Theta Pi Fraternity. He later attended The University of Missouri, Kansas City where he graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts. Matt earned his Missouri Real Estate License in 2002 while living in Kansas City and transferred it to Nebraska when he moved back to Lincoln in 2004.
Matt has a passion for real estate and loves his hometown of Lincoln! Matt is dedicated to giving back to the city he loves and proves it with his commitment to the community. Matt is a member of The National Association of Realtors, The Nebraska Realtors Association and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Realtors Association of Lincoln. Matt also currently serves on the Realtors Association of Lincoln Forms Task Force and the Public Policy Committee as well as is the 2021 Chair of Property Management Committee. Matt is a graduate of Leadership Lincoln Fellows Class XXXI and is currently on the Hot Topics Committee and is a regular volunteer and a member of The Board of Directors at Leadership Lincoln. Matt served as 2021 President of the Board of Directors for the Foundation for Lincoln City Libraries. Matt also serves on the Board of Directors for the Country Club Neighborhood Association.
Matt has been married to his wife Jennifer for 20 years and has four children, Patrick, Kaley, Charles and Theodore. Matt’s interests include music, yoga, pilates, golf and tennis and of course The Cornhuskers.
